how to whiten teeth naturally!: no chemicals and no dentist!

Image
I know I ain't the only person obsessing over Hollywood pearly whites! In fact probably hundreds of us have tried products, whitening kits, whitening toothpaste and some may have even gone to the Dentist! Is it really worth all that effort and struggle just to get some white teeth? Well, I have found cheap, all natural, quick and most of all effective ways to get your teeth white without bleach or other harmful chemicals! STRAWBERRIES AND  BAKING SODA  Yes you read that correctly, Strawberries are great for whitening teeth! Start by mashing up 1-2 strawberries to a pulp and then add a teaspoon of baking soda and apply onto your teeth and leave on there for 5-10 minutes, then simply remove it by brushing your teeth away with your toothpaste (preferably all natural and organic). Repeat this once a week and you shall see the difference! CHARCOAL I know what your thinking, how can something the opposite of white be good for whitening? Well did you know that charcoal...

strong, healthy nails: without taking those stupid vitamins!

Image
I am one of those ladies who love to wear nail polish frequently, I change my nail colour every week religiously, but as much as I love to paint my nails, but I also have to take care of them. Often times women forget that we should also take care of our nails as well as just make them look pretty. So I've decided to show you some of the ways I strengthen and keep them healthy by these 3 simple and cheap tricks. Coconut oil: Simply rub some coconut oil onto each nail, spend at least 30 seconds on each nail to really rub it in between the skin and nail. Remember to rub on the inside of your nail too.  Olive oil: warm up four table spoons of olive oil for 30 seconds, don't put it in the microwave, it will kill the nutrients instead put boiling water in a large bowl and add the olive oil in another smaller bowl and put the bowl within the larger bowl to warm it up and then massage the olive oil into your nails the same way you did with the coconut oil. After your done with y...

Natural products that protect you from the sun!

Image
The sun has got his hat on, but you won't need to because I have got some great natural products that will help you out this summer from the sun. Now we all know that soaking up the sun is good for you, its a great source of vitamin D which is beneficial for your health but UV rays are not and that's what you need the protection from. Ever since science advanced, we have depended on store bought chemical products, we have forgotten that the source of all these problems before were from the natural sources which are guaranteed to help us and benefit us. We need to take it back to the old days and learn from the great ancients of our times. Coconut oil:  Coconut oil is a great way to protect yourself from UV rays, not only is it cost effective but when your out in the sun your going to give your body a nice shimmer and your going to smell great. Native Pacific Islanders have been using this for thousands of years. Just rub it on yourself like a sunscreen and voila! You have y...

Natural ways to get rid of period pain!

Image
Goodness gracious! is it that time again? The most painful, tiring time of the month? We've also had our fair share of trial and error when it comes to getting rid of the pain, there are pills, hot water bottles and heat pads but sometimes those fail and we end up still with that awful pain, well to almost every problem there's a natural solution! So I'm going to give you at least 5 ways to help bring down the pain you feel during your period:  Gentle exercise: I know that this is the last thing some of us want to do on our period, but this is one of the best tips on the list, women who regularly exercise tend to have less pain during their periods, but remember this is a time where we can get tired easily so do not push yourself too hard, try walks, or gentle yoga or very light cardio. Juice: Juicing is now becoming a trend, I'm sure a lot of us are becoming familiar with people who juice regularly for different health reasons, some fruits and vegetabl...

all natural all organic skin care!

Image
Now, aside from hair, I also love taking care of my skin, especially when it comes to my face. I know we all have our beauty favourites, and most of those may contain 4% aloe vera or 6% shea butter...but I say why settle for a product that has ''X'' amount of natural ingredients in it when we can just go 100% percent natural right?! Okay, so I'm going to break it down into products that we can use to make our skin gorgeous. In order to make our skin shine we need to exfoliate to get rid off all those dead skin cells, we need to moisturize and get rid of those spots. Exfoliator: Oats - oats are great for exfoliating, just add water and rub into the skin like a facial scrub this is really good for people with sensitive skin as its very gentle almond oil and sugar - this makes the perfect facial scrub for those who have an oily type skin or combination as this is slightly more abrasive than the oatmeal and there are no chemicals which means your skin will...

The reason behind this blog: Dedication

Image
I've wanted to do a blog for a while, but I always put it off because I was doing other things, subconsciously I was probably afraid it wouldn't get a good response. Last Sunday I received the worst news of my life, my best friend ended his life... He was the guy that believed in literally EVERY idea, EVERY business plan, EVERY song I wrote and EVERY risk I took. The news was unreal to me...in fact it still is, I still keep thinking I'm going to bump into him. I once told him that I was going to drop out of school and just go work and make my business plan happen, he thought that I was crazy and begged me to stay in school. The next day he shows up at my house and tells me to call my dad, he comes and tells my dad about my idea to leave school...naturally my dad was furious and he said there was no option for me but to stay in school. He would never let me fail at anything and knowing that I was also a musician he often made me practice in front of him and he would tell ...

Hello Aloe! : why Aloe vera juice should be in your hair care routine

Image
At first I was skeptical of Aloe Vera juice being in my hair because it was a liquid, and it wasn't an oil and yadayadayada...I read about it on so many blogs and began to become curious, one thing I did know is that I hated the smell of it, but I was willing to try it, after all it was natural. So I headed off to my normal hair product supply store and bought the pure Aloe Vera juice, when I came home I researched on how to use it, some people left it in mixed with a leave-in conditioner or some people used it after they rinsed out their shampoo and condtioner, I decided to mix it in with my leave in and also to use it after my rinsed out my shampoo and conditioner. When my hair air dried...it was so....SOFT! I have never felt my hair so soft in all my life! From that day on I've never looked back its been in my hair care routine ever since... so now for the information bit, why is it so good and how exactly does it help? To put it simply... It promotes hair growth e...
