Natural products that protect you from the sun!
The sun has got his hat on, but you won't need to because I have got some great natural products that will help you out this summer from the sun. Now we all know that soaking up the sun is good for you, its a great source of vitamin D which is beneficial for your health but UV rays are not and that's what you need the protection from.
Ever since science advanced, we have depended on store bought chemical products, we have forgotten that the source of all these problems before were from the natural sources which are guaranteed to help us and benefit us. We need to take it back to the old days and learn from the great ancients of our times.
Coconut oil: Coconut oil is a great way to protect yourself from UV rays, not only is it cost effective but when your out in the sun your going to give your body a nice shimmer and your going to smell great. Native Pacific Islanders have been using this for thousands of years. Just rub it on yourself like a sunscreen and voila! You have your own natural sunscreen. The SPF level for coconut oil is between 4-10
Shea Butter: Shea butter is known for being a great moisturiser for skin and hair, but did you know that Shea butter is also a natural protectant from the sun? it has also been recorded that Cleopatra and the queen of Sheba used it. it has a SPF level between 6-10. Now I know people are thinking how do you expect me to bring a block or box of Shea butter to the beach or when I'm out and about in the sun? Well there's an easy solution to that, melt the Shea butter, and put it in a squeezy bottle and just pour and rub into the skin. Shea butter can come in two colours one is yellow and the other is a white creamy colour but both have the same properties so it does not matter which one you use.
Raspberry seed oil: When I first researched this, I was quite shocked that this had the highest amount of SPF levels ranging between 30-50 which beats a lot of sunscreens out on the market, and not only that it does that but it is also prevents you from skin cancer! Now this may be quite difficult to find depending on the area you live at, so I suggest you either go online or phone up your local stores and see if they stock any.
Now for the ultimate protector why not melt these ingredients down together and put it in a squeezy bottle and apply! You'll get supple smooth shimmering skin and UV protection! I really hopes this helps guys this will benefit you and the oil will last a long time.
