THE 5 LOVE LANGUAGES AND WHY YOU MUST KNOW THEM.

Sometimes in our relationships whether that be your partner or family member, we may question whether they love you. Ooften times it's not whether they love you or not it's if they are reflecting the love you would like to recieve. YES maybe they are acting like assholes but sometimes their love goes unoticed and that is why we must all learn our love languages so that your love and your loved ones love isn't overlooked.

So what are the Love Languages? Well there are five:

1. Acts of Service
2. Physical Touch
3. Quality Time
4. Gift Giving
5. Words of Affirmation

Acts Of Service
Acts of service is someone doing something for you. This person is the one who puts up the shelf, cleans the house, makes you coffee without you asking. They express their love by actions. Heading out? "I'll take you hop in the car!" that's they type of person they are.


Physical Touch
Can't keep your hands to yourself around your partner? Or maybe you're a "hugger", whatever you do, when you are comfortable around a person you end up touching them in a loving way. If your partner is upset your first instinct is to maybe cuddle them or make them lay on your chest, either way, your way to make someone feel better is through loving touch.

Quality Time
Someone out there thinks that the best thing in the world is to just be in your presence and that is all. You could be sitting home alone doing nothing but sitting next to each other in complete silence and this person is content. Quality time are people who just like to be in your space, as long as they are with you nothing else matters. This doesn't mean that they don't enjoy going out on dates so don't think these people are the boring type they just really enjoy your company first and foremost.

Gift Giving
A lot of people think gift giving has to be a expensive thing. Gift Giving can be a simple act of someone being in the store and seeing the drink you like and getting it for you. it's the person who buys lunch and gets you a little something too. It's not about expensive jewellery or trips around the world (al though those are valid examples) it's about them thinking about you in that moment and thought this would make you happy.

Words of Affirmation
They say there is power in the tongue and it is very true. If your love language is Words of Affirmation then you are the person who likes to recieve love by compliments. "You look so good today" "This cup of coffee you made me tastes so delicious thank you" That is the type of love and praise you like to recieve. Whoever is with you has to be careful around you with words because words can sting you also if used maliciously. 



So remember sometimes it's not the case of that they don't love you, it could be the case that their love is less obvious to you, so I hoped this helped!
